| Bio: | First, the Personal Mission Statement: I am here, now: - to help where needed - to teach as I can - to lead if I must - to be ready for what's to come - to learn all there is, on every layer - to accomplish that which must be, and if not - to make sure those who follow are ready to Those who rely on me, support me, and love me must always know that I am here, now. Within this journal you'll find how I carry that out. If the victories and (less often) defeats of an Atlanta forty-something single guy working to make something of his life appeals to you, welcome aboard. Hopefully I'll have something for you within the journal that enlightens, entertains, or both. But know this first and foremost- this is my journal. Odds are you'll find something that offends you within these entries. Don't expect any apologies; I won't offer any. Like your TV, if you don't like what you see, change the channel. I will resist with every fiber of my being and with any resource at my disposal any attempt at external censorship. Remember what I said above, about being in my forties? Yeah, I've had practice at this. I'll censor myself, based on factors of my own choosing- but I won't be told by someone else what I can and can't post. Since moving to Atlanta my life has become richer in many ways. New friends, new goals, new experiences, new hopes, new frustrations- Atlanta's given me the gamut. I look forward to the rest, and to sharing it here as it happens. The campaign continues; though I'll have to say, it's not me conquering Atlanta- it's Atlanta conquering me. Life is good.... | |
